Chicago Foods

Maybe this is the year you decide to eat more healthful foods. You know, things like potato chips and cheesecake with no topping or dips. File this under “Only in Chicago”: this year’s Taste of Chicago organizers have asked each of the food vendors to offer at least one healthy food item on their menu. So Eli’s is offering their cheesecake without toppings and dips, and Billy Goat Tavern says their potato chips will be the healthy option. That’s a Billy Goat double cheeseburger pictured above (from Michael Stern’s Roadfood.com review). You have to give them credit; maybe potato chips are the healthy option.
